{"id":5694,"date":"2012-03-07T10:00:27","date_gmt":"2012-03-07T10:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/becaskitchen.ro\/duck-on-cabbage-in-the-oven\/"},"modified":"2024-10-01T13:36:07","modified_gmt":"2024-10-01T13:36:07","slug":"duck-on-cabbage-in-the-oven","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/becaskitchen.ro\/en\/duck-on-cabbage-in-the-oven\/","title":{"rendered":"Duck on cabbage in the oven"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\">A recipe as delicious as it is easy to make, even if it seems a bit sophisticated ;).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/becaskitchen.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Rata-pe-varza.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline;\" title=\"Duck on cabbage\" src=\"http:\/\/becaskitchen.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Rata-pe-varza_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"Duck on cabbage\" width=\"640\" height=\"369\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">I used the following ingredients for 2 people: 2 duck legs (I bought them from Carrefour, but they are also found in Cora and Real), 1 small red cabbage, 1 small white cabbage, 1 spring onion, 2 suitable carrots, 1 a bunch of dill, a few sprigs of thyme, olive oil, salt, pepper, 2 cloves of garlic and a few sprigs of parsley (for flavoring the legs).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/becaskitchen.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Varza-la-cuptor.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline;\" title=\"Cabbage in the oven\" src=\"http:\/\/becaskitchen.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Varza-la-cuptor_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"Cabbage in the oven\" width=\"640\" height=\"295\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">I cut the vegetables thinly, put them in a bowl and added a little olive oil, the juice of 1 lemon, thyme, dill, salt and pepper. I practically made a salad :). Then I prepared a <em>maglavais <\/em>of crushed garlic, parsley, salt, pepper and olive oil with which I greased the duck legs for flavoring.  <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">I heated the oven to 170 degrees Celsius, put the legs on the cabbage, covered the pan with an aluminum foil and put it in the oven for 45 minutes.
