Surprising from the outside, delicious, fine and cool… delicious is an understatement when it comes to this dessert, and those who have already tasted it know what I’m talking about ;).
Even though I adapted the recipe so that it differs from commercial products primarily through the nutritional qualities of the raw materials, I was surprised to find that this combination of wholemeal flour, dark chocolate cream, banana, hazelnuts and mint is particularly tasty.
But let’s not waste time, because I’m not writing this post just to brag, so here are the ingredients ;):
-
For the dough: 1 cup of whole wheat flour (about 100 gr.), 50 gr. of butter, 1 egg, 1-2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder (it goes out with a little lemon juice);
-

-
For decoration and flavoring: fresh mint leaves and hazelnuts.
I first prepared the dough, mixed all the ingredients, kneaded it and spread it well in the mini-tart molds, pressing with my thumb on the walls of the molds so that it is as thin as possible.
I heated the oven to 170 degrees Celsius and put them in the oven for 10-15 minutes. To save time, I started with the chocolate cream. I put the chocolate together with the sweet cream in a saucepan over a very low heat and stirred from time to time until a cream was obtained. Separately, I mixed the egg yolks with the sugar until the sugar dissolved and then I poured the mixture over the chocolate and put it on the fire for a few more minutes (until it became more consistent).
In the meantime, I took the tarts out of the oven, let them cool down a bit, so that they could come out of the molds more easily… et voila 🙂
I cut the banana into thin slices, placed one slice in each tart and very carefully poured the chocolate cream and then decorated each one with a hazelnut and a fresh mint leaf.
That’s about it, an excellent combination of tastes, so dear gourmets, moms, dads, grandparents… dare to try the recipe and if it’s not good, scold me ;)!
Happy easter!
